I shared the electrical switch with the water filter and dishwasher. This required my device to be mounted on its own switch, and that's where this kit comes in. I'm not a very practical person, but it was very easy. I used a hole saw that I also bought from Amazon (LENOX Tools Hole Saw with Arbor, Speed Slot, 1-1/4-Inch (1772491)) to drill a hole in the kitchen sink. The switch itself fits perfectly in this hole. From there, all you have to do is plug in the handset and plug it into an available outlet. I used dish soap as a lube to help with the hole I saw in the YouTube video. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and think it looks great. Anyone can do it. It worked as soon as I flipped the switch, which is all I can ask for at the moment. I'll update if it breaks over time, but it's so easy to use that it's hard to imagine anything breaking.
