Champagne doesn't keep for more than an hour or so. it's not worth it.
I'm so disappointed; I bought these and gave one as a gift and kept the other two for myself (so not only have I made a bad gift now, I can't return them) although they stay fizzy for a while (keep fresh during a dinner). Party, for example,... although just leaving it open in the fridge for the same amount of time didn't make much of a difference for me), they certainly do NOT work for long-term storage. I definitely DO NOT recommend them - the seal isn't tight enough and it's a waste of money.
