I was having occasional power point operations with my previous speakers as we placed our laptop in the back of the room. Most say 50.75, even 100 feet, but this one advertised 100 meters. I questioned that, thinking it was a typo, but everywhere I researched it said 100 yards, so I might be missing out for a few bucks. I tried it on 2 separate occasions and it worked flawlessly. I do not know, how high the maximum range is, but it is far superior to more expensive devices. After reading the instructions I was surprised that it is so advanced in operation and features. My only issue was that the key is stored magnetically in the tip and if you turn it upside down like I did it would be very difficult to pull it out again.
