Beware of excess adhesive
When installing this replacement filter, I noticed strands of adhesive coming off over the metal mesh. Upon closer inspection I noticed that there was too much glue in one corner of the filter which had probably seeped into the top of the filter at the factory. If I hadn't noticed this prior to installation, it's very likely that those streaks of peeling adhesive would have gotten into my air intake as they easily peeled away from the metal grille as soon as I noticed them. The factory needs to strengthen quality control.
