I installed a solar/inverter conversion in my RV. I ordered good quality 2AWG copper wire with 3/8" spade lugs as that was the largest size I needed. The system worked but I was disappointed that I could only get about 1300 watts out of the 2000 watt inverter before it shut down. I've researched that the inverter shutting down is most likely due to undersized cables or the wrong lug size. It was the tips that got me, the switches are 1/4" studs and my batteries are 5/16" studs and the required control shunt is 3/8". The inverter easily maintains its nominal values. These delays do a good job can handle the high power demand. Good value for money.
