Purchased 08/13/16, I wanted to wait a few months to make several trips. First, it helps to turn the lid inside out and ensure the drain collar is on the bottom for easier installation. The size ordered was perfect. During the Thanksgiving holiday on the Central Oregon Coast, we had two days of extreme weather, including storms. The spare RV is at the back and in this case overlooking the ocean. The lid was firmly in place, badly torn and still looks like new. As long as the person makes sure they order the correct size and turns it inside out to fit the splint, all will be fine as previously suggested.
