Great product. We've used Velcro in the past, but they've always come loose, chewed, lost their color vibrancy, or lost the ability to really stay in place over time. They were *much* better. They retained their color and integrity for 9 weeks (by which time two of our males had outgrown their maximum size). They won't be small enough to wear with newborn puppies, so velcro is probably still best for the first two weeks or so, but then it's a lot better. The breakaway clasps are strong enough to handle most puppy play, but weak enough to pop open on demand if the pup really manages to get snagged on something. They lie perfectly in the wash and don't wrinkle or melt like the Velcro did. I highly recommend them as a toilet collar. Ours were good enough that we packed them for our next litter.
