This is MUCH better than Velcro that keeps falling off! All of our 11 week old German Shepherd puppies (except for two who are too small) will fit these collars in the smallest adjusted size. I love that the collars are breakable and made of durable nylon. They are packaged in cardboard plaques to record puppies' weight and stats - very useful! Overall I am very happy with this purchase and will order again if we ever have more puppies!

They are of excellent quality and go well with our Mastiff litter. The clasps just pop open as a safety measure, like a cat collar, which is great. When they got dirty we just threw them in the washing machine and they washed really well. The only downside was that some of the colors were so similar it was difficult to tell a few colors apart after playing and wrestling with the puppies all day and being a bit muddy. I breed Large Pyrenees and these collars were too big for my newborn puppies who are born about a pound. Collars were fitted when they reached 2 pounds, which is approximately 1 week. The puppies are now 3 weeks old and weigh about 5 pounds and the collars will only fit them for about a week. I especially like the collars because they are detachable but not too easy to come off. The colors are great but the latch design is terrible. Collars break apart with less than 3 pounds of force. Have a litter of 10 week old German Shepherd puppies, put a leash on one of them to take a picture and it was gone before I stepped back 5ft. Tested each of them and nothing could break them. Great product. We've used Velcro in the past, but they've always come loose, chewed, lost their color vibrancy, or lost the ability to really stay in place over time. They were *much* better. They retained their color and integrity for 9 weeks (by which time two of our males had outgrown their maximum size). I ordered these for a new litter of Scotty/Yorky puppies. At 6 weeks they are finally big enough to wear. They are well made, sturdy, nice nylon and the hardware feels nice. Time will tell how much of this plastic is. Large selection of colors. Heavy enough that brothers chewing each other's collars won't damage the nylon. They're easy to set up.
