If you are looking to replace the pressed bearings on the front hubs of many vehicles, you will need this tool. I guess I could find a hydraulic press shop and pay them to remove my old bearings and then press in new ones. However, I love making things myself. So I decided to buy this set. I did a lot of research and found that this is the only kit that has a high strength 7/8" drive bolt. All other kits I've seen have 3/4" drive bolts. I have just completed my front bearing replacement using this tool and I can assure you that using this particular tool pays off. A propellant can take a beating, but this propellant passed the test. I've seen YouTube videos of people using a similar kit but with a standard 3/4" drive bolt. It was sad to see the bolts break and the bolt heads fall out. This is a quality product at a reasonable price. If you are looking to take on a front bearing project (with press fitted bearings) then this is the tool you should get. You should also get a good slide hammer. A slide hammer is required to remove the wheel hub from the bearing. In addition, the drive bolt head is 1.25 inches. You will need a good 1.25" hex socket. I used such a head and an air strike gun. I would recommend doing the same.
