Very well assembled, better than any of my originals. Unfortunately, this hose does not fit my G model or my old model. The reason is that this hose has two small pins on the metal end to connect the sweeper. I have a G sweeper that plugs into the side with a long cord. Keep in mind that you need this if you have a sweeper with a short cord that plugs in like me. If you don't, those pins won't fit in the canister. Also, if you have a long cord sweeper like mine, note that the new hoses are slightly thicker and less flexible than the old mesh covered hoses. This makes it difficult to attach the rubber clips that wrap the cord around the hose. Also, be very careful with this cable as it is almost impossible to replace, at best repairable. Nothing beats those vintage Electrolux vacuums though!
