Here's an easy way to fix the gaudy look on dealer license plate frames. They are simple, modern and minimalist. I put them on my wife's black Acura and we both agreed they looked amazing. Just note that they're real carbon fiber with no material other than their own plastic supporting them on the back, so they feel a bit pliable and I'd bet you could crack them. I wish the screw caps had a carbon fiber finish too, like some of the less authentic ones, but even with the caps we get they certainly have a sleek look. License plate (especially front) does not rattle. I suggest you try without before attaching them. I used a darker art board with these dark edges and these little pads are white. Although they're mostly hidden, I see the white pads when I'm in front of the car and I don't like them. But hey, it doesn't rattle, soooo.
