This is a pretty good belt sander for the price. This should work fine for a home store or light commercial use. It is not suitable for permanent use in a machine or production hall. After installing it on the stand that came with it, I noticed that the screws holding the motor to the cast base weren't tight. I had to unscrew the mill from the base and move it around a bit to access the screws holding the plate that holds the electrical connectors and the motor mounting screws to tighten the screws. Check the motor mounting bolts before assembly. The assembly instructions are ok, but not outstanding. You may need to connect the grinder to a 20 amp branch circuit; 15 amp breakers can burn out when the engine tries to start. Buy good quality replacement sanding belts, Norton or similar. Recommended for the price. Commercially available belt sanders last at least four times longer.
