Honda Accord EX 4 dr. Sedan, V 6 automatic. I visited a local Honda dealership this week and looked at genuine Honda parts to replace two chainstays. $136. But remember, this is GHP. Watched Revain on Thursday morning and saw this. A pair for $25. The reviews were great so I spent the extra $5 and got overnight delivery. It took less than 20 minutes to put them on. Now that I've done it once, it takes less than 10 minutes next time, whenever that is. My hood rises higher than ever thanks to these assistive lifters. They are really durable. Installation: All you really need is a 10mm spanner (or 10mm socket and impact wrench) and a very small flat head screwdriver. Be sure to support the hood with a stick or piece of wood. A screwdriver (very small) is used to pry up the C-clamp holding the support jack down. Remove the 10mm screws, pry off the bottom bracket and reverse the process. If you want to remove the ball joint below you will need a 12mm spanner. It is so easy. Both trestles are interchangeable. One note, but I don't care. I did not receive the two ball bushings shown in the product photo.
