After doing some research and reading the reviews we decided to buy this rocking stool for our 5 year old son who was having a hard time getting settled in sitting in his normal chair making letters. and does projects at his desk ADVANTAGES: The material of the seat is a very strong, hard plastic. It is very easy to assemble and adjust to your child's height. It is very easy to keep clean. And it does what it's supposed to: let your baby wobble and rock. Our son enjoys sitting in this chair and no longer feels restricted by the four-legged chair he used to fall out of because he just couldn't sit still in it. CONS: Chair top with cushion is already falling apart/falling apart. turns off after a little less than 3 days of use. I find this quite disappointing for a $50+ chair. That was my reason for the 4 star rating. If it wasn't a problem it would be five stars.
