1. The shells were too small and too deep. My Goffin Cockatoo took it apart in less than 30 minutes. There was only a bolt and nut holding the shells to the clamp. Not even enough to be a good toy for a bird of the same intelligence and beak strength.3. If I had to clean it, a dishwasher wouldn't do. I would have to use a toothbrush to get into all the little crevices in the clamp mount.4. That's a good idea, but it takes a little more execution before at will actually works. Maybe soldering?
