Well here I am in a few weeks. I managed to get almost everything working except uploading to their cloud service. I use OneDrive instead because it really works. I'm not sure what's wrong with them, but it looks like system issues are on their side. Every other cloud storage I have works fine but I can't hack them. I'll leave the rating the same. I hope to come back to this review and report the all is good news in the near future, but right now I've invested about $500 and a camera that doesn't work. I have so many problems that I can't remember all of them, but I'll try.1. At least 3 attempts are required to connect your smartphone to the camera. Always at least 1 failed attempt.2. Uploading files from camera to cloud service is not done in most cases and is now not done at all.3. The last video was recorded with fast forward. Video before shooting "back to front" (strange)4. I have media on the card but GoPro Quick doesn't recognize it.5. Trouble viewing GoPro in File Explorer when plugged directly into a USB port.6. Still getting error messages when trying to contact GoPro Support through GoPro.com7. GoPro hasn't responded to any of my questions (2 emails so far). I'm sure this is the best and only camera that will suit my needs but oh my god it requires complex maintenance at the moment. I only have a few days to get it working before my ski trip. Update: If you want to upload and download files of any significant size, you MUST have fast (300Mbps+) reliable internet or forget it. Yes, auto-uploading to their cloud doesn't work, worth crap. I would be interested in anyone who actually had success with it and how.
