An easy way to save money on K&N filters as it makes application more precise. so you don't apply too much oil. There seems to be less waste and better oil placement on the filter with more control over amount and placement when refilling the filter, but then again I'm a dirty person. I use it for the base application and then use a touch up spray can if the area doesn't look like it's been covered with an even coat of oil. I figured next time I'll buy it by the liter and reuse the bottle or just grab a plastic bottle and an old atomizer. I have a few things with K&N filters and they are a lot cheaper than buying regular filters and I have found that they have better fuel economy.
