We recently did a ton of remodeling, and we finally decided to replace all of our inside doorknobs. (I don't think we had any two match.) Door knobs can be really pricy, and when you have something like 10 that you want to replace, the price to buy them individually can be prohibitive. I was super excited to discover that you can buy them in bulk.Anyway, they came quickly. The quality is decent; they feel good in your hands, and they look really nice. We did end up having our contractor install them as the holes in the doors weren't big enough. I'm not sure if that's an issue with the doorknobs or with our doors, but he was able to fix the problem rather easily (had the right tools). The only thing that isn't so great with the knobs is that the locking mechanism is meh. Some of the door locks turn just fine. Others are sticky to turn. It's possible that some WD40 would fix it; I haven't yet tried. Also, sometimes, the doors don't completely latch (i.e., you can tug the door and it'll open without turning the handle), but that could be a fault of the door.Bottom line: If you want matching doorknobs that don't break the bank, and if the locking feature isn't a deal-breaker, these are a great purchase.
