Close, but no cigar.

Update January 27, 2019: Satechi contacted me right after my first review. A few messages and a few days later my broken hub was replaced with a new one. Now that all ports are working as they should, I can now use multiple devices at the same time as long as I plug in each device in the "correct" order. The sleeve itself fits a little better than the previous one, but I'm still careful not to accidentally hit it. Overall I can now use my hub for its intended purpose so I'm happy. So, good news: the build quality is decent. Any port works; I can listen to music through the headphone jack, use the HDMI port, charge via USB-C, and connect a camera or MiC Apogee to an iPad Pro. Problem? I can't do everything at once like my previous Apple adapters did. As soon as I plug in my microphone and headphones, they both stop working. It's either one or the other. I bought this hub solely for my music recording/production needs and at the moment it doesn't look like that will happen with this product. I also find the connections too narrow for my taste. It felt like breaking it when I plugged in the headphone cable. However, the connection between the iPad Pro and the hub itself is rather weak. The lightest pressure and the hub will fall out. That's the weirdest thing. I really want to like it, but it's not quite right for me.
