We have a new puppy and needed new things for the puppy. I decided to buy a few different leashes to try out some of the new features they offer, rather than the plain, boring nylon leashes we've had with our previous dogs for several years. when we saw another person/dog or both walking past. With our old leashes, we had to wrap the leash around our hands many times to get a strong enough grip to keep our dog safe. DOG, AND GENIUS lower the HANDLE for a safer way to grab the leash to properly hold our dog so he doesn't get too close to other people/dogs. WHERE was that leash YEARS ago?! BOTH handles have COMFORTABLE soft areas for comfort. The lower handle can also be held without padding. This 5ft leash is great for both our young puppies and older dogs. I was hoping I wouldn't have to buy a special leash just to use on our pup while waiting for the pup to be big enough for a full size leash and with this leash I do NOT need to buy a special puppy leash because it works. SUITABLE for dogs of different sizes and ages. The leash has a REFLECTIVE feature that works when headlights or other light sources illuminate the leash. This is a GREAT safety feature when walking our dog at dusk or in the dark. At the top of the leash the handle has a D-ring which is PERFECT for attaching a pack of poop bags, keys, pepper spray etc. HEAVY DUTY buckle makes our dog RELIABLE AND SECURE. This leash is EASY to use and COMFORTABLE. I want to buy a slightly longer leash for dog training. I have bought 2 types of leashes from this brand and have been VERY SATISFIED with the quality of the leashes so will see if they have longer leashes before buying another brand. Excellent purchase. I would buy it again.
