As a delivery driver, I walk on my feet and stand most of the day. I've been wearing the Nike Monarch for years but I was fed up with the sock falling apart after 6 months so I decided to look around for a new work shoe. Stumbled across them, read the description about lab tested, memory foam, anti-compression, vented toes, breathability and sold. Ordered and they were here the next day. Lace them up and I wouldn't say they're "padded" but they do fit snugly around your legs. By the way, they fit TTS. I put them on to work the next day and my feet started hurting right away. They are very flat and don't let any air through at all. Your feet will sweat in it. On the second day I decided to give them. Not for me. I would say they seem very durable.
