My Fluval 405 filter was a miracle when I first got it. He cleaned my turtle tank and made it sparkle. After a couple of years he stopped working completely - oh he started but the tank wasn't cleaned. I really didn't want to spend more than $100 to replace it and then I stumbled across this little gem. The instruction manual doesn't make it very clear how to use these parts, but with careful thought I was able to put all the parts together. Run the filter and voila! My beautiful filtering was back in place.
