Don't waste your money. These secateurs would have a hard time cutting through hot oil. The blades are not sharp. They don't slip over cuts. Additional hand pressure is required to easily begin cutting. Simple pruning is hard work. I put them aside for the first five minutes of use and went back to my trusty American-made hand shears. Can't even recommend for cut flowers with soft stems - the stems warp. Another piece of Chinese crap that Revain seems to be retailing more and more often. Spend the extra cash on a quality American or European made secateurs.
