If you are trying to minimize the weight of your bike this scale will not do. It claims to have an accuracy of +/- 20g. So if you weigh a 10kg bike, the weight should be between 9.98kg and 10.02kg or within 0.2% accuracy. Amazingly, when I repeated my 10kg bike 10 times, it showed a weight of 10.06 to 9.88kg, or an accuracy of 1.2%. This makes it futile to change components such as the chain, cassette or crank and understand what the benefit is in many cases. Each time I weighed, I very carefully lowered the bike onto the scale without bouncing to get the most stable reading. The scale takes readings once it believes the transients from loading the bike are gone. Then the readings will not change when the weight changes. You will need to detach and restart the bike to get a new reading. This makes them very sensitive to how long it takes you to load the bike onto the scale and how much the bikes are bouncing after loading. If I was extremely careful when loading the bike, I was able to get repeatable measurements to within 20g. Very touchy. I have ordered other scales with higher accuracy claims to see if they actually work better.
