I have a few scooters and skateboards but didn't feel safe riding them without a helmet so I bought one. I had a regular bike but it didn't fit me and I didn't like the shape. I really like this skate helmet as it has a much wider profile and feels more durable than lightweight EPS bike helmets. An interesting feature I like is the chin strap locking mechanism. Rather than clicking like a regular buckle, which can be difficult for some, especially with one hand, this allows you to open the strap by pulling on the pull tab. There are nice big vents on the top of the helmet which allows for better ventilation and keeps my head. from excessive heat irritation. There's a cool little device on the back that tightens when I turn it clockwise and loosens when I turn it counter-clockwise to ensure my head sits nice and snug.
