Can cover a large area.

I wanted to be able to connect to WiFi in a barn covered in galvanized steel panels about 40 meters from the hotspot in the house. The signal was measured at around -80dBm near the door and even worse behind it. I could barely tweet, let alone look at pictures or videos. I installed the CPE210 on a pipe in the corner of a shed and configured it to work as a repeater. When I checked the signal in the barn it was -57dBm, a big improvement! I was able to plug in an Echo Dot in the shed and stream music just as easily as if I were indoors! I walked down our long driveway for fun. Even at over 850 feet I still had a usable signal! That means this thing can cover at least 50 acres! I used to have dead zones all over my house where the Wi-Fi was too weak to use but still too strong for the phone to switch to cellular. It's all gone! I have a strong signal everywhere out there! The only downside is that the control interface was INCREDIBLY slow at first, although when I finally managed to update the firmware it seemed to run a little faster.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
