This is amazing we have several items including mugs trays cake stand etc We keep coming back these items are well designed and beautiful I know that they shall live for generations! Okay minus and there is only one, he/she contains some lead which gives a shine and a hard feeling of weight. Obviously this is not good so long term storage of spirits/wine is not recommended as lead can slowly leach into the alcohol. I don't know about you, but at my house, drinks don't stay in the carafe for more than a couple of weeks. So in a beautiful product at a great price I recommended them. - PS - I often soak mine in vinegar and water to remove lead on the surface - they're made from regular recycled glass from other manufacturers too if you prefer!
