I tried this resin for the first time yesterday on an Anycubic Photon printer and got very good results. First, as I said, it doesn't smell. This makes it easy to be around and work without having to wear a full respirator, which is a huge improvement over other products. Print quality is good: resolution was great, limited by printer resolution, not resin. The resin has a pleasantly low viscosity, pours easily and does not retain bubbles below the surface. Exposure times as advertised: I used values in the middle of the exposure time range recommended in the instructions and had no problems with curing or adhesion to the surface. build plate. Tank Adhesion is Better: During printing, I found that adhesion to the FEP tank liner was lower than standard resin because the slight popping sound as each layer was peeled off was quieter. - See note on stands below. The post-processing is different: after removing it from the build plate, I washed it with an alcohol bath. The printing surface was still slightly sticky after rinsing. (This will correct with time in the sun or setting a post-cure light.) I removed the supports and found that the material in its green state was less brittle and slightly stronger than standard Anycubic resins. This means the supports are a bit more difficult to remove, so I would recommend using a lighter support structure to avoid damaging the print where the supports come loose - this appears given the lower adhesion to the FEP tank window that the I seem to have observed reasonable . Good finish: I post-cured the print in a 30w 405nm UV lamp for 4 hours. Cured material with a matte finish. I've tried filing and grinding support scars and have had good luck with both methods. After sanding with very fine sandpaper, I rubbed the print with a cotton cloth and was able to adjust the appearance of the pristine surface quite well. Strength: I have not tested the ultimate strength or brittleness of a fully cured material, but will check. if i do
