It's only been a week but I really think this is one of the best doormats you can get, especially as it's attractive but not functional. I have a dog that likes to run to the door and behaves like a wild animal that always ruins my carpets. However, this rug withstood slipping paws when ringing. I've never had to adjust it since I posted it. It's thin enough to walk out the front door without sacrificing the soft cushion to rest your feet on after you take off your shoes. I have yet to test the post-clean, but I'm hopeful.
