Not sure why I waited so long to replace the OEM Diamondback comfort pedals. The MARQUE MTB Flat Wheel Pedals feel like a great stiff pedal that needs improvement. The spike grips do the trick and stick to your shoes like glue! You can see how it compares to the OEM pedal in the photos. Noticeable and surprising difference when pedaling. Very happy with these pedals. For those unfamiliar with right-hand and left-hand threads, the left-hand thread is on the left side of the bike. Turn the wrench (15mm) clockwise to loosen and counterclockwise to tighten. There is no need to over-tighten the pedals as they tighten as you pedal; comfortable and sufficient. The left pedals are marked in two ways, one with an "L” on the pedal frame and the other with grooves at the base of the mounting bolt. There is an "R" on the right side and the bolt is smooth.
