I waited 6 months before I decided it’s time to leave a review. These strips seem really thin at first and I wasn’t too sure if they would stay put or will they tear, or will they even keep me from slipping. I was skeptical, but we really needed something because a couple of times our guests would slip and fortunately they didn’t hurt themselves. But I’m so glad I purchased this. It’s crazy because even after it snowed there’s still traction. It would rain and the wood would get so slick the next day that I had to hold on to the rail for dear life because it was so slippery. But not anymore! Even if it did start peeling or tearing at this point, I feel like I already got my money’s worth. I had some left over and put some on some wooden steps that I swept, but didn’t clean very well like I did the main areas and it’s still hanging in there without tears or peeling. There have been 0 slips since installing. 5 stars
