Reduces the sharpness but not as much as I expected
I have a Muay Thai bag in the yard that I filled. It's about 160 pounds and quite heavy. I bought these so my shins don't get as crushed when I dig in my pocket (especially on my left leg). I tried it. They fit me fairly well and go well with my neoprene leg sleeves. I have to say I could still feel the impact from these pads but they loosened the edge enough that I was able to land more punches without bruising for 5 days.
