I have a 2002 Silverado with a cover. I've always wanted to add some lights to the bed so you can see what's in bed much better with the bedspread closed. I actually ordered 2 sets of these lights for a total of 16 pods and am very happy with the results with 8 pods per side. Installation Tips - Use either denatured alcohol or a non-chlorine brake cleaner to clean the area where you will install your headlights. Use a heat gun or hair dryer to heat the area and the 3m tape before installation, after you apply it, hold it with pretty decent pressure for about 20 seconds. I used small zip ties through the screw holes on the modules to attach the wire under the bed rails. You can also use velcro strips and insert the wire between the velcros to hold it in place. I also connected these lights to my cargo light instead of using the switch that came with it. I would also recommend taking a small loom to run wires from outside the bed.
