I like mid-length shorts. Compression can be improved, especially in the lower abdomen. The bag attracted me to the product. Customer service is great as they contacted me after my first review. I tried a smaller pair that didn't have the length to cover my quads. Compression was only slightly better and the same problem existed in the lower abdomen. The quality of the material is excellent.
