Correct weight and balance. Smooth and comfortable handles, all work surfaces are also smooth, without sharp edges and burrs. Knives are SHARP! Not a blunt butter knife, so be careful! I actually cut myself before realizing how sharp they are. So sharp I didn't feel the first cut. The design is simple but easy to mix and match with other designs and serving items. I'm pretty hard to please when it comes to cutlery. This set made me happy, and even at a good price. I will buy another set. Highly recommended.
