Terrible for Oculus Quest 2 Link

The cable itself feels nice and looks good, but that's where it all ends. First off, it doesn't say anywhere that one side of the USB-C connector is USB 2 speed and the other side is USB 3 speed, so I spent almost 2 days tearing my hair out trying to figure out why Oculus gave it to me says I only get USB 2 but it gets better! IT WORKS BETTER THAN USB 2! I tested the cable in VR when it was USB 2 and it actually worked decently, there was a bit of graphic distortion from time to time when moving but stable FPS and only one drop, it was actually comparable to the Quality I get with Airlink. Well when I finally got USB 3 2.6GB speed I thought it would be even better but I was wrong. Now my DESKTOP keeps freezing, disconnecting every few minutes, and when I'm lucky enough to even launch the game, it freezes and I have to completely restart my Oculus Quest 2 and the Oculus software on my PC, to get the desktop work. Stop freezing in virtual reality. All in all I think I got what I paid for. A cheap alternative that 'works' about as cheaply as it costs.

Pros
  • USB 3.2 Fast Data Sync - With a data transfer rate of up to 5Gbps, you can enjoy lightning-fast syncing and connect to the Oculus Link software without lag. Be sure to connect it to the USB 3.0 port on your motherboard or GPU for optimal performance.
