Review on πŸ”§ ProLift C-2036DG Green Mechanic Creeper by Patrick Myers

Revainrating 1 out of 5

cheap materials. Cheap padding. Cheap hardware. Assembly tools not included or missing

This Z-Creeper in its original packaging has sat in my hallway since it arrived. (July 2017) Today I finally opened the box and assembled it. In this case you get what you pay for. This creeper is garbage. As my title says, cheap materials. I can't imagine wafer thin vinyl (?) (real paper maybe?) lasting even a few days with heavy use. Seriously, the cardboard packaging will last longer than what this thing covers. Cheap padding. There are virtually NO gaskets under the cheap flimsy vinyl. Cheap hardware. One of my rollers is already damaged - from tightening. No, I didn't overtighten. Missing assembly tools. My Creeper came with an open "wrench" that failed to get the screw head it was intended for when the screw started to tighten. I had to use 2 wrenches. No Allen wrench to tighten 4 wheels that need it. At least I didn't get any. Everyone knows that anything that requires an Allen key to assemble comes with an appropriately sized Allen key. Not this thing. There is nothing to tighten the other 2 wheels that don't use an allen wrench. If you don't have a perfectly smooth surface to work with, SMALL rollers are useless. Even coarse cement prevents them from turning. I tried my tile on a tiled kitchen floor - it's a "natural" tile, not perfectly smooth, and the creeper had trouble rolling. I KNOW that a damaged caster will fail the first time I try to use a Creeper. Especially if it's in a crack. CLICK! it's gone. And the fact of the matter is, even though my 1,800-square-foot garage and store have a smoother floor than my kitchen, the roller is still going to crack. I guarantee it. My guess is that the creeper is made for either very small adults or children. My height is 5 feet 10 inches. I am NOT supported from head to "thigh". My head is over the top of the creeper when I want my "thighs" to be padded. The seat size is also designed for children. Don't do too many reviews. I buy a lot from Revain and should probably leave more reviews. Both good and bad. But this product is such rubbish, I had to say something. Result. Don't buy junk. This Creeper sucks, don't buy it.
