Review on N77 2561KP Polished Performance Air Intake by Mike Weaver

I bought this air intake system because I thought I had a better cold air intake for my Ford Ranger. I installed the system as instructed, but after driving around town for a while I checked under the hood and found that the air cleaner intake and all surrounding areas were very warm or hot and no cold air was getting into the engine. This shows me that the installation instructions and this kit need to be updated/changed to allow cold entry. The original air intake system was designed to get cold air into the engine, but not this K&N77-2561KP system.
