There is a book Why Didn't I Write That. These are deceptively simple or obvious ideas turned into books. This is a product that falls into the same category. This is an elastic band that corrects a design flaw. period, end of story. I use it on a Nikon 18-200 zoom lens - a good lens but it has a lens creep problem. Nikon released version 2 of the lens and it has one thing that keeps the lens from slipping, but as another reviewer pointed out, Nikon's new zoom lock only works at 18mm. Considering it costs a lot more than this little set, this little gadget seems like a bargain. A simple and cheap solution to a small problem. What's not to like?
