Review on ๐Ÿ“ Precision Centering Gauge for Park Tool TS-2 and TS-3 Truing Stand by Tommy Rao

Revainrating 4 out of 5

5 stars for seller, 4 stars for Park Tool

I bought this through Revain, the seller was Biketools. The item shipped quickly but USPS lost it for some reason. I contacted Bikerols a day after the estimated delivery date and received a quick response that they would look into the matter. They did and the next day I received an email from Biketools that they would just send another one and deal with USPS. Received the second batch in a few days. As for the tool itself, read other reviews and you'll quickly conclude that a true Park Tool TS-2 stand requires a centering gauge. You will also find that it is overpriced. I agree with both. However, I used this centralizer on my TS-2.2 and calibrated it very quickly. The tool comes with easy-to-follow instructions, but you should have the instructions that came with your correct posture handy in case you are unsure of where the arm locking rings or collet nuts are. I also used this on a cheaper Spin Doctor stand to center it. Which brings me to the third point that you will learn from other test reports: The TS-2.2 should be calibrated at the factory. The supports on my stand were misaligned by about 2mm and the calipers were off too. In summary, this tool works and is recommended for anyone using the Park Tool smoothing stand.
