📏 Precision Centering Gauge for Park Tool TS-2 and TS-3 Truing Stand Review

Not sure if the one received was used or how it came from the factory but it is covered in dirty handprints. The edges are uneven and uneven. It would be a different matter if it cost half as much but $80 for machined aluminum. Returned item, may try again in the future

Surprised tool kit - it's actually a single piece of aluminum machined in a fairly simple way. There are no cutouts or size markings anywhere. It is simply used to center the calipers. I reckon it will cost Park a few bucks to carve and label it, not much more. I agree with others that they should have included this in the purchase price along with the frames. Now if someone breaks into my shop I can at least throw it at them, it's pretty tight and more useful in that regard.

Truing gauge required to calibrate/adjust the Park Tool Professional truing stand. The stand requires adjustment of the vertical arms and front tentacles. In theory, you can swap out the perfect wheel to customize the stand. But I've tried both and I have no hesitation in saying that the centering gauge is better. Shame on you Park Tools. I think it works fine, but I was disappointed that I had to buy a $60 tool to align my correct $200 TS 2.2 tripod. I bought this through Revain, the seller was Biketools. The item shipped quickly but USPS lost it for some reason. I contacted Bikerols a day after the estimated delivery date and received a quick response that they would look into the matter.
