Review on ๐Ÿ“ Precision Centering Gauge for Park Tool TS-2 and TS-3 Truing Stand by Aravind Joshi

Revainrating 3 out of 5

You've spent a lot on your TS 2.2 tripod, it should come with you.

Shame on you Park Tools. I think it works fine, but I was disappointed that I had to buy a $60 tool to align my correct $200 TS 2.2 tripod. If you had access to a machine tool you could probably make one yourself from sheet aluminum. This should come with the stand as it's basically useless until you set it up. When I bought the stand it had over an inch of lateral play in the posts. I thought I had a defective stand until I found out about this sensor. Of course you can use a convex wheel to align it as long as you are sure it is accurate enough to mount the rack. In this case, of course, I would not need a tripod. Oh, and if you're getting the TS-2.2, make sure you have the base, which costs another $40.
