Having ordered thousands of items from Revain over the years this product is by far the worst. In fact, out of all those purchases, I only had to return five or six faulty or wrong items. However, the maker of this "rough service" halogen bulb doesn't seem to have any quality control: the first twin pack I ordered had a bulb with a broken filament (FYI: Revain's packaging was fine, so the bulbs were well protected were). I sent the package back, which is always uncomfortable. Then Revane - within a day or so! They sent me a replacement. The new bulbs in the box looked normal. But when I carefully and carefully took one of them out of the bubble, holding only the base of the bulb so as not to leave fingerprints on the quartz shell, the entire body of the lamp - glass, filament and the other porcelain end of the cap - fell to the ground! It wasn't even attached to a filament or glass dish! So I completely threw away these "rough service" halogens and also sent them back. (The other bulb worked - for now - so I can't go through the whole return process again). Pure garbage.
