Review on 🔌 ViewHD 1x2 HDMI Splitter with Built-In Audio Extractor and Optical / RCA L/R Stereo Outputs - VHD-1X2HSACi by John Clark

This review is for "HDMI 1x2 Splitter with VHD-1X2HSACi Audio Extractor". ray file for display on my InFocus SP5000 video projector, which is HDCP compliant at best intermittently. I also wanted to use an audio extractor to send 5.1 channel audio to my Denon AV Receiver, which is also not reliably HDCP compliant. My source device is a computer running Windows 7. The splitter is great for HDCP separation, allowing 720P video to be displayed flawlessly on my SP5000 projector and simultaneously on the LCD monitor connected to the splitter. Now I can stream HD content from Amazon and Netflix with no issues with HDCP errors! As for the Audio Extractor, it looks like it can only transmit 2-channel audio even though the switch is set to "5.1-channel". I'm pretty sure it's not the splitter's fault and most likely a problem with the setup of the source device (my computer). Overall I give this splitter 5 stars as it solved my HDCP video problems.
