I've wanted to install a water filter for a long time but didn't really want to do a plumbing project so I was itching to try this countertop system. This water filter does not require connection to the water supply and can even provide heated filtered water. You simply fill the water reservoir, just like Keurig. The tap water then goes through a sediment pre-filtration, an activated carbon and a micro-ultrafiltration process, resulting in pure filtered water. This desktop water filter effectively removes the mineral taste from the tap water in my home and I have reduced the need to rely on bottled water for drinking. I love that this system is easy to carry, and I also like the care that goes into the clean, aesthetic design with user-friendly controls.
