It does the job

So far it has served its purpose so I can't say it's a bad product. I originally wanted to use the Rockwood 627 model because I know one works great. But in this place I moved to, the door hardware has a black finish and I wanted the color of the peephole to match. Rockwood makes a black coated version of the 627, but I've only been able to find them in bulk for other companies. I'm not sure where the average consumer can buy this version. In the meantime I decided to take the risk and buy this version of Togu because the color matched. It gets the job done, but there's a noticeable difference in both build quality and "image quality" so to speak. I had to go with Rockwood 627 Chrome and only be concerned with the color variation. Incidentally, nowadays it is common to have doors where the "outer skinโ€ is primarily heavy board and the "inner coreโ€ is foam plastic insulation. If you make a hole in such a door with a hole punch, it will slightly deviate from the course. Once that's done, you'll need to make a small thread on one side of the hole so the peephole fits right into the door. You save time and nerves when you use a twist drill.
