BETTER THAN I HOPE.

I am very happy with the purchase. Only criticism would be the workmanship (must have been cut on a CNC router) there were a lot of sharp edges. I spent a little time hand sanding every corner and surface with fine sandpaper or fine foam sanding pads until everything was smooth; smooth. Removed all residue and dust and treated each surface with Butcher Block Conditioner, after a few hours leave and wipe dry and smooth. I would recommend cleaning it gently with soap and water with a clean damp cloth after use as you would any high quality bamboo cutting board and rinsing thoroughly. Let it dry completely and treat it regularly with Butcher Block Conditioner. It was a bit of extra work but well worth it as it will be a present for my daughter.
