Smirly Cheese Board Knife Set Review

Bought as a present for my daughter in January. She has only used it for the second time recently and the knife drawer would not open. It seemed somehow deformed. When washing the surface after the first use, she was extremely careful so that it didn't result from immersion in water. After a while they were finally able to open the box, but once opened it wouldn't close. My daughter loved this gift when she received it and is very disappointed to find it unusable after just one use.

These boards are not only beautiful but also very functional. Recently I brought in a charcuterie board with cheese, meat and crackers. I bought this for my husband for his 40th birthday as he is a fan of sausages. I read the reviews and am completely confused. I have no idea what others' standards are, but the quality of this product is not worth the $60+ I paid for it. I am very happy with the purchase. Only criticism would be the workmanship (must have been cut on a CNC router) there were a lot of sharp edges. I spent a little time hand sanding every corner and surface with fine sandpaper or fine foam sanding pads until everything was smooth; smooth.
