This works surprisingly well to add volume to hair when washing. I used it for a couple weeks and then took a break from it for a few showers to see if I could notice a difference and there definitely was one. My hair was flatter and heavier without it. When I went back to it, it had a definite plumping effect again. My only gripe about this product is the heavy metal bottle. It is somewhat of a pain to get the product out as it nears the bottom and since the lid isn't wide, keeping it upside down isn't a great option, especially because if it falls, it is loud hitting the tub floor. I don't love having a bottle in the shower that can cause pain or damage if it falls. A plastic, squeezable version of this same look would have the same branding effect, but much safer and more practical.
