I would like to call myself an expert in humidifiers. I suffer from asthma and a dry home, and have slept with a humidifier since I was young. Now I am a mother of two children and the most important thing for my children is air to breathe! I tried dozens of moisturizers from Vicks, Vornado Baby, Crane, etc. before coming across this one. The fact that it is filter-free and "prevents mold" immediately appealed to me. That's been my biggest problem with other moisturizers in the past - that nasty pink goo that always builds up in the reservoir whether it's been used for two days or two months. I bought this humidifier hoping to finally find this holy grail product. I've only been using it for 2 weeks and already have this pink slimy mold in the tank! Mind you, I used distilled water, and it was plugged in 24/7. Absolutely disappointed! Not worth the money plus terrible lights at night. More dazzling than soothing. Save money and buy something cheaper. It will probably develop pink slime molds on it, but for now I'm convinced they all do π€·π½ββοΈ
